Alex Tai is a Renewable Engineer with Hartford Steam Boiler, Hartford Steam Boiler is global a leader in equipment breakdown insurance, specialty coverages, inspection services, and engineering-based risk management for businesses, homes, and farms with over 150 years of experience. At Hartford Steam Boiler, Alex manages Technical Due Diligence for Mergers and Acquisitions in Utility-Scale Renewable Infrastructure Projects for Munich Re.  Alex has a keen interest in agrivoltaics and the interplay between ecology, environment, and energy generation and has applied this focus in his due diligence work in supporting Munich Re’s global investments. As an engineer in Hartford Steam Boiler Alex enjoys helping underwriting and claims to decrease risk in renewable energy infrastructure projects.

Alex earned B.S in Energy Engineering and a minor in  Environmental Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
