Dariah Norwood
Diversity Lead
Dariah Norwood is the New York State Policy Lead in the Regulatory Strategy and Policy Group at National Grid. National Grid is one of the largest investor-owned energy companies in the US — serving the energy needs of more than 20 million people throughout New York and Massachusetts. In her role, Dariah shares National Grid’s vision and strategy for the future of gas landscape in New York State and serves as a lead on energy policy, corporate strategy, regulatory and stakeholder engagement.
Prior to National Grid, she began her career in the energy industry with Apex Clean Energy in their State Government and Federal Government Affairs departments as a graduate intern and Duke Energy in their Federal Government Affairs department.
Dariah received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, and a Master of Science in Global Affairs with a focus in Energy Policy from New York University. She resides in Brooklyn, New York and in her free time she enjoys reading, visiting art exhibits, and trying new restaurants in the city.
