Jeanette is the Community Campaigns Coordinator at Solar One under the Clean Energy Communities Program. In her role, she spearheads the Clean Energy Communities Grant Program (along with members from MOCEJ and the NYC Accelerator team) to support community-based organizations (CBOs) and building owners through grants amounting to $15,000-$25,000. The grant program aims to assist CBOs in clean energy efficiency campaigns and finance clean energy upgrades for buildings that serve low-income tenants in Upper Manhattan, Central Brooklyn, and the South Bronx. She is also working on a workshop series on Solar for NYPA to expand rooftop and community solar resources. Before joining SolarOne, she worked as Program Assistant at Empire Clean Cities to help develop resources on electrification and alternative fuels for stakeholders in NYC. Jeanette graduated from Muhlenberg College with a B.A. in International Studies with a concentration in International Environmental Problems.
